Review | Dior Diorific Vernis in 751 Marilyn

I seriously cannot get enough of Dior's Diorific Vernis. It's just something about that bottle...wow. Aside from the bottle, this polish shade definitely lives up to its name. A signature Marilyn Monroe red, it is a neutral toned red so it is suitable for pretty much anyone! There is a slight shimmer in it, but on my nails it is not noticeable at all.


This shade was a limited edition shade released in Dior's Holiday 2012 collection, but was re-promoted in their 2013 Holiday Golden Winter collection. 



  
I love the formula of this polish. It is so smooth on the nails and I can get away with wearing only one coat. For a truly opaque look, two coats would be fine. It is not streaky at all, and gives a nice shiny finish. 



While this isn't a unique shade, if you're looking to splurge a little ($42 AUD) for a classic red polish I would definitely recommend this one. Be sure to pick it up before it gets sold out!
